We would like to welcome our newest addition. Brody Christian was born on Jan 31,2008 at 5:12am. He weighed 6lbs 13oz and 18 3/4 in long.
It was the craziest delivery ever. I was due on the 15th of Feb. SO,this is the story. I went to bed Wed night about 9pm. I woke up at 11 to go pee and then could not go back to sleep until 1am or so. Blake had gotten in bed with us at this point. I woke up again at 2 am to go potty and I had what I thought was gas pains or the fact that my son was sleeping in my back. I kept having to go potty and then started to cramp a little but thought that maybe I was coming down with a bit of the stomach flu. I did not want to go to L&D for fear of being sent home once again so I just kept telling myself it was nothing. I had been in L&D last week with contrations 2-3 mins apart dialated to a 5 and 85% and the sent me home because i was not changing from a 5. I had told the dr and nurses I would not be back til I saw a head between my legs. I was just joking with them about it. So, anyway back to early Thrus morning. It was now a little after 3am and I decided to take a shower to see if that would help me relax. wrong just made the pains more intense. At 4 am I tell my husband we need to go so that I can have things checked. I was admitted and checked at 4:45 am and the nurse said call dr stat she is complete and ready to go. Only thing holding baby in was the fact that my water did not break. I have never seen nurses ready to deliver a baby before. The dr got there and broke my water and two pushes later my son was born at 5:12 am. yes I know not even 25 mins later.
Sorry it took so long to post this but for some reason I was not able to post when trying to do so.

Hey! Who made your blog look so AWESOME?! Must be someone pretty cool....j/k :) It was fun "hangin'" with you today; when I got home and told Jonathan how long I had been there he just said, "Visiting teaching is a WHOLE different ballgame than home teaching!" :)

cute blog background! And, cute pics of the kids and family, too. Did Jamie do those?
